If you're stuck on EDC Dusk vs Dawn, here's what you need to know. Insomniac has split EDC Las Vegas 2027 into two lower-capacity weekends at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. EDC Dusk runs May 14-16, 2027 and EDC Dawn runs May 21-23, 2027. You can buy one weekend or the two-weekend "EDC Dusk Till Dawn" pass. No lineups or separate themes have been announced for either weekend yet, so for now you're choosing on dates, budget, travel and camping style, not on artists.
Quick answer: should you buy Dusk, Dawn or both?
Buy one weekend if you're working to a budget, can only take one trip, or want the classic three-night EDC run. Buy both if you're a superfan, plan to camp, or want a full Vegas week with the programming Insomniac has scheduled between the weekends. At the launch starting prices, the two-weekend pass cost a lot less than two single-weekend passes. That gap matters most for GA.
The one thing you can't decide on yet is music. Neither weekend has a published lineup, so choosing Dusk over Dawn (or the reverse) comes down to which dates suit your calendar.
What changed for EDC Las Vegas 2027?
EDC 2027 runs as two consecutive weekends at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, sold under a 12-day concept Insomniac calls "Dusk Till Dawn." Both Fox5 Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Motor Speedway press release report the dates:
-
EDC Dusk: May 14-16, 2027
-
EDC Dawn: May 21-23, 2027
Insomniac says the weekends are designed to be lower capacity. Fox5 reports the aim is to ease travel and lodging, and electronic.vegas wrote that EDC "will expand to two lower-capacity weekends in 2027."
Sources date the 12-day window differently. Fox5 reported the Dusk Till Dawn experience as May 14-24. Beatportal, EDM Identity and TicketNews give May 13-24 for Camp EDC and the citywide programming. If you're booking flights or hotels around the edges, check the dates against the official listing for whatever you're actually attending.
Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella told Fox5: "I'm really excited to introduce 'Dusk Till Dawn' as the next evolution of EDC." He also said: "This concept gives Headliners the freedom to choose their own path and join us for one or both weekends." ("Headliners" is EDC's name for its attendees.)
How much do EDC Dusk, Dawn and both-weekend passes cost?
At launch, one-weekend passes started at $399.99 GA, $499.99 GA+ and $899.99 VIP, all-in. Two-weekend passes started at $599.99 GA, $899.99 GA+ and $1,699.99 VIP. Fox5, electronic.vegas and the LVMS release all report these starting prices.

| Tier | One weekend (Dusk or Dawn) | Two single-weekend passes | Dusk Till Dawn (both weekends) | Saving vs two singles |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| GA | $399.99 | $799.98 | $599.99 | $199.99 |
| GA+ | $499.99 | $999.98 | $899.99 | $99.99 |
| VIP | $899.99 | $1,799.98 | $1,699.99 | $99.99 |
Launch starting prices, all-in. Savings are FestGeek's arithmetic on those figures.
At launch, GA buyers got the biggest discount for committing to both weekends: the second weekend cost $200 rather than $399.99. For GA+ and VIP, the bundle saved about $100.
Electronic.vegas reported 2027 prices as "about 10-15% lower than 2026 prices, including taxes and fees" and called the launch tickets "the lowest priced tickets of the year." Fox5 and electronic.vegas both report that layaway was available for GA, GA+ and VIP with a $5 deposit.
Are EDC 2027 tickets still at launch prices?
No. Tickets went on sale at 12 p.m. PT on Friday, May 22, 2026, and later tiers cost more. Electronic.vegas explains: "Tickets are typically sold in tiers, with prices increasing as each lower tier sells out."
Availability has changed since launch. In October 2026, TicketNews reported that Front Gate listed the combined Dusk & Dawn passes and the EDC Dawn passes as sold out, with limited EDC Dusk passes left and a waitlist for both weekends. On November 4, 2026, the official EDC Las Vegas homepage read "PASSES BACK ON SALE NOW!" and offered EDC Dusk, EDC Dawn and EDC Dusk & Dawn passes.
On the same day, Front Gate listed these "Early Owl" prices, fees included:
-
EDC Dusk 3-Day: GA $479.99, GA+ $529.99, VIP $1,349.99
-
EDC Dusk & Dawn both weekends: GA $859.99, GA+ $999.99, VIP $2,499.99
These are later tiers, higher than the launch starting prices, and they can change as tiers move. Check the live Front Gate page before you budget. Front Gate lists the event as 18+ only and VIP as 21+ only.
Has the EDC 2027 lineup been announced?
No. Fox5 reported that lineups, themes and stage programming "will be announced at a later date." As of November 4, 2026, the official site showed no 2027 lineup and named no theme for either weekend beyond the Dusk and Dawn names and the "12 Days of EDC" framing.
For buyers, that means a single-weekend pass is a bet on dates, not on artists. If chasing specific DJs is the whole point of your trip, you can wait for the official announcement, and likely pay a later tier. Or you can buy both weekends so whichever weekend your favorites land on, you're covered. FestGeek won't pass on artist names from unofficial listing sites. Wait for Insomniac's own announcement.
Can you camp at EDC for all 12 days?
Yes. Camp EDC runs May 13-24, 2027, according to Beatportal, EDM Identity and TicketNews. Campers can stay for Dusk, Dawn or all 12 days, including the days between the two weekends. The official Camp EDC page puts it simply: "Make Camp EDC your home for Dusk, Dawn, or all 12 days!"

The official page says the 12-day Dusk Till Dawn camping experience went on sale September 10 and "is available to all festival pass holders." Single-weekend Dusk and Dawn camping passes went on sale September 17. EDM Identity adds that single-weekend festival pass holders can buy the 12-day camping option too.
Accommodation options:
-
Cozy ShiftPod: a ShiftPod set up before you arrive. EDM Identity says it fits up to four and replaces Moon Glow.
-
Cozier ShiftPod: adds beds, linens and pillows. EDM Identity says it fits up to two, sits in a preferred location and replaces Desert Rose.
-
B.Y.O. RV Camping: bring your own RV, with optional power hookups, water refills and pump-outs.
The official page also links to The Mesa & Campgrounds. EDM Identity reports that all three camping options can go on layaway with a $30 deposit, and that extra vehicle parking passes will be available.
"Camp EDC has always been more than a place to stay," Rotella told EDM Identity.
What happens between EDC Dusk and EDC Dawn?
Insomniac is running citywide "12 Days of EDC" programming to fill the week between the weekends. TicketNews lists:
-
Hotel EDC at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, with pool parties and after-parties
-
Map Point Summit, an industry and culture gathering (ticketing not yet announced)
-
A free-entry Insomniac Concept Store
-
Beyond the Rave, a free art exhibition
-
A marketplace open Tuesday through Thursday
-
Pop-up parties, some free for Dusk Till Dawn pass holders
-
The free, all-ages World Party Parade, returning, with route and timing not yet announced
"I'm really excited to introduce 12 Days of 'Dusk Till Dawn' and expand the EDC experience beyond the festival weekends," Rotella told TicketNews.
This middle week is the best argument for buying both weekends. If you can stay in town, a two-weekend pass and a 12-day camp spot turn EDC from a weekend trip into a full residency, and some of the pop-ups are free only to Dusk Till Dawn pass holders.
EDC Dusk vs Dawn: a decision checklist
-
Budget: At launch, the two-weekend GA pass saved $199.99 over two singles, and GA+ and VIP saved $99.99. Prices now are later-tier Early Owl prices. Compare the live Front Gate pages directly.
-
Travel and time off: One weekend means one trip. Both weekends means either two trips or about 12 days in Las Vegas. Price flights and lodging for both scenarios before you commit.
-
Camping style: Decide between a pre-set ShiftPod and bringing your own RV, and between one weekend and the full Camp EDC window. Layaway can spread the cost.
-
Crowds: Insomniac has described both weekends as lower capacity than a single combined event, so the crowd-size argument doesn't separate Dusk from Dawn.
-
Lineup: Nothing's announced. If specific artists matter more than dates, either wait for the official lineup or cover both weekends.
-
Age: Front Gate lists the event as 18+, and VIP as 21+.
Buy passes only through the official EDC Las Vegas site and its Front Gate ticketing pages for Dusk and both weekends.
