Sónar has started naming its 2027 artists. On November 3, 2026, the Barcelona festival announced the first 30 names for its June 17-19, 2027 edition and said the daytime programme is moving. This is a first wave, not the full lineup.
Who is in the first wave
These names are a selection from the official Sónar announcement: Bonobo with a new live show, Peggy Gou, Carl Cox, Jessie Ware, KI/KI, Romy playing a DJ set, Goldie live, and Donato Dozzy & Batu. The full list of all 30 is on the organizer's page.
Daytime in the city, nights at Fira Gran Via
The daytime programme returns to central Barcelona. The night programme runs on June 18 and 19 at Fira Gran Via, with four stages. The information we checked did not include the exact daytime venue, which artists play which day, a timetable, prices or transport details. We are not guessing at any of them here.
Reading the lineup: the formats tell you something
Look at how each act is billed. Bonobo and Goldie are listed as live shows, Romy as a DJ set, and Jessie Ware is a vocal act on a bill that is otherwise heavy on DJs. Those labels matter more than they seem. A new live show and a DJ set are different experiences, and once days are assigned, the format will affect which stage you head for and when. Donato Dozzy & Batu appear together under one billing, so look for them as a pair, not as two separate slots.
How to plan before the timetable lands

Book around all three dates. The edition runs June 17-19, and the night events fall on the 18th and 19th. If your group wants both nights, book accommodation that covers the full run.

Don't build plans around a single set yet. Without official day splits, booking your trip around one name is a gamble.

Allow for two locations. Daytime is in central Barcelona and nights are at Fira Gran Via, so you will be moving between them. Plan that route once the organizer confirms the daytime venue.
