The Lollapalooza South America 2027 dates are out, and before you sketch a multi-country trip, look closely at the calendar. Three editions are advertised for March 2027, but they fall on just two weekends. Lollapalooza Argentina and Lollapalooza Chile both list March 12 to 14, 2027. Lollapalooza Brazil comes a week later, March 19 to 21, 2027.
The dates at a glance
-
Lollapalooza Argentina 2027: Friday, March 12 to Sunday, March 14
-
Lollapalooza Chile 2027: Friday, March 12 to Sunday, March 14
-
Lollapalooza Brazil 2027: Friday, March 19 to Sunday, March 21
These are the advertised event windows for each edition, linked to each festival's official site and reviewed on November 3, 2026. They're dates only. They don't tell you who's playing, how acts are split across days, or when anyone goes on stage. Check each organizer’s current lineup and timetable before making artist-specific plans.
Argentina or Chile: one weekend, two options
Argentina and Chile share the same three days, so you can't do one and then the other. They're alternatives. If you're aiming for a single March weekend, your first decision is which country to choose, not how to fit both in.
Make that call the way you'd pick any festival. Compare the current lineup and any day splits on each official site. Check the city and venue each edition confirms. Then weigh that against your budget, your schedule and where your friends actually want to go. If your group is split, it's fine to hold off committing until the lineups give you a reason to choose.
Adding Brazil the following weekend
Brazil's edition starts on March 19, which makes a second option possible: one weekend in Argentina or Chile, then a second in Brazil. It works on paper, but it's really a separate trip added onto the first, so research it as its own journey. That means travel between countries, a place to stay during the week between festivals, extra time off, and the entry rules that apply to your passport in each country.
Don't assume a ticket, pass or wristband for one edition works at another. Read the purchase terms on each festival's own site, and budget for three to four extra days of costs between the two weekends, not just the festival days.
Same name, separate editions
The shared brand can blur the details. Each edition has its own official website, and that's where its lineup, ticketing, venue information and policies will appear. If a social post, group chat or resale listing mentions "Lollapalooza 2027," check which country it means before you act on it. Getting a date or a site wrong is an easy mistake when three events share one name and two of them share a weekend.
A practical planning order
-
Bookmark the official site for each edition you're considering, and no others.
-
If you're undecided, keep March 12 to 14 and March 19 to 21 free for now.
-
Hold off on nonrefundable travel until the edition you want has published its lineup and venue details.
-
If you're thinking about two weekends, price the week in between before you treat it as one trip.
-
Agree as a group on one country for the first weekend early, since Argentina and Chile can't both happen.
The short version: two weekends, three festivals, and at most two of them for any one traveler.
